What’s in the Name?
Mission Statement
Town of La Ronge
A vibrant town with a population of approximately 3,000 people located on the shores of Lac La Ronge, nestled next to Lac La Ronge Provincial Park (Nut Point) and apace to the beautiful Boreal Forest.
Fire Department
Emergency response at the La Ronge Airport is provided by local emergency agencies; La Ronge Fire Department, La Ronge Emergency Medical Services, RCMP.
Sask Aviation Council
Since 1989, the Saskatchewan Aviation Council has been improving aviation in Saskatchewan. What began as a small group of pilots has grown to include members from all facets of the aviation industry.
Northern Sask Airports
Map of Saskatchewan Airports provided by The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure. The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure owns and operates 17 airports in northern Saskatchewan.
SPSA Air Operations
Home base to SPSA Air Operations, aircraft are an important part of Saskatchewan’s wildfire management program. Land-based air tankers, water-skimming aircraft… all play critical roles.
